During this ministry year, we have the joy to build upon the foundation of Biblical understanding that we strengthened with the focus of last year’s theme. Our new theme is The Promised Land of the Prevailing Word: Biblical Solutions for Daily Living, and this issue is filled with practical articles that will enhance our lives as we faithfully apply the principles we are learning.

In his article, “Nourished to Flourish: Rooted in God’s Word,” Rev. Mike Anderson explains that well-developed roots in God’s Word are an important key to abounding quality and steadfastness as we carry out that Word. In “Ambassadors for Christ: Given to Hospitality,” Kim Naviello shows that we can make a godly impact on the hearts and lives of those who hunger and thirst after righteousness as we demonstrate our concern for their well-being and involve ourselves in their lives.

“The Life-style of Reaching Out with God’s Word,” by Cathy Dudley, gives practical keys that can help us grow in our skillfulness to hold forth the Word of Life. Edwin Horney’s article focuses on Ephesians 6:10-17, showing vividly and practically how to keep “Winning in the Spiritual Competition.”

In Manners and Customs of the Bible, Bernita Jess looks at the importance of metalworkers in Bible times, showing us how some in this trade produced their metals for the glory of God, while others did not. “The Foundation of Parenting: God’s Word” details how we can put into practice the greatness of the new birth by living a loving life-style on a daily basis.

The Prevailing Word Report gives an exciting update on the recording of the new foundational class on The Way of Abundance and Power, as well as a report on our ministry’s joyous sixty-third anniversary celebration and the commissioning of Way Disciple Outreach Group XII. You will also find a colorful map of the 2005–2006 Way of the U.S.A. Regions along with pictures of the Region coordinator couples.
